Dear readers
It looks and feels very much like spring today. I played catch with Caleb and Damaris today. The grass was a little spongie yet, but we had lots of fun.
The land in front of the house is steaming as I write this. Another sign of spring. Although we are a long ways away from planting potatoes. The ice on the bay is starting to thaw. There is a dark line from the bridge to behind UK's place. The ice in the straight is going away as well. Soon it will start to warm up again. The picture was taken in the National Park above North Rustico.
I'm getting some comment spam lately. So I have decided to change the way that I post your comments. For now I pick wich ones get published. The comments will go to my e-mail account first and then I post or delete them. We'll see if it works. So if your comment doesn't show up right away, that is why.
Have a great week.......

Yeay! Spring is coming to your part of the world too! It is so neat to feel the change in the air and to see the open water again. Time passes and that's always a good thing to keep in mind!
Blessing today! Love ya, Tetcy
Yeah, I was wondering about your random spanish commentors...
Even though I'm not much of an outdoors person, right around this time of the year, I feel the itch to dig around in the soil. I wonder if it's instinct from all the years trying to help Mom in the garden ('trying' being the operative word). Isaac says that maybe soon we can find a little planter (for indoors) to plant a few herbs in. That's pretty much all I can do about it for now... but it might suffice.
Anyhow... my alarm is going off... that means I have to make the trek in the mud to switch my laundry from washer to dryer.
Love you! It was good to talk to you yesterday.
Love,
~ Mary
Dear Dad,
so good to see you post again! It is so nice to see all the signs of spring again. It is getting so warm here even though the snow is still here I can feel summer in the air. I can imagine you playing catch with the kids. I can remember you doing the same with us. You are an awesome Dad! Love you lots and lots!
Love Amanda
Sunday WAS a beautiful day, wasn't it? And so far, a wonderful week. Yeaaah, hopefully no more snow.
Nice picture Randall. You're always a great photographer. Gee... even the snow looks nice in that picture.
My friend, Andy, has to check his comments first too. It seems to work for him. Gee, I hope I pass the test. :)
Thanks for your comments on my blog. Jason's nerve wasn't touched so his tooth didn't turn black like yours. You'll never know for looking at him which one is the fake one. Good news!
Have a great day. Karen
Yeah .. how about that random spam eh?? Im glad to hear that things are going well at home, and that there is a turn around in the weather for you, we are going through the "april showers brings may flowers" weather right now and there is only been rain lately.. a little depressing, but Jordan has been home almost all week. He started working an hour earlier so hes home an hour earlier too, even more time together! Micaiah is up in his crib banging away at the rungs and making himself giggle and laugh..its so cute! I am definitely glad that I got him into the habit of keeping himself content for a few minutes after he wakes up, so that I can get things done, and hes always in such a better mood. well i should probablly stop with the comment or else I will be posting my own blog on your comments, and I'll just have to direct everyone to your comments page so that they know what goes on with me! haha..have a great day!! Love you lots! Dianna
p.s. word verification seems to work out pretty well too, to keep the wierdies away!! love you
